Mark A. Colella, CPA, MST

Over the course of his career, Mark has developed a diverse background in the field of accounting while working with various CPA firms, including Ernst & Young, LLP. He has provided accounting, business advisory and tax services for businesses ranging from sole proprietorships to multinational companies in addition to tax services for trusts, estates and individuals. His clients range from small to mid-size closely held companies in various industries including service, real estate, construction, health care, and manufacturing.

Mark graduated from St. John’s University in 1996 with a B.S. in Accounting. In addition to being a licensed CPA in New York and New Jersey, Mark received a Masters Degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University in 2006.

Mark is a member of the following organizations:

· New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants

· Association of Certified Fraud Examiners

· National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts

He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Staten Island Children’s Museum as well as treasurer for Gateway Rotary.

Jeffrey R. Perlman, EA

With over 25 years of accounting and taxation experience Jeffrey began his career in private accounting where he advanced quickly to the position of Assistant Controller and then on to Controller in the manufacturing industry. Adding diversification to his resume he also assumed the position of Controller in not-for-profit organizations. Finally, in 1998 he joined the family CPA firm of Dlugash & Co. as partner where he honed his expertise in taxation. Upon the retirement of his father-in-law the firm became Dlugash & Perlman. Seeking to expand his horizons as well as to enhance client services, Jeffrey merged his firm with DeVito, Colella & Associates, CPA's in 2007.

Jeffrey primarily concentrates on tax planning and financial analysis for individuals and their related entities, including partnerships, small to mid-sized corporations and trusts. He is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as well as being a member of the National Society of Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals, and has earned the title of Accredited Tax Advisor and Accredited Tax Professional with the Accreditation Council for Accounting and Taxation.
